CATOOSA INDIANS
CAROLYN REPLOGLE
11-3
2021 Catoosa Volleyball Schedules
COVID-19 effected a lot of different things in our world, one being sports. The Catoosa Indians were 11-3 on the season in 2020, but had games cancelled due to the pandemic and growing concerns about the safety of the players, coaches and fans.
After showing signs of possibly being one of the better teams in Class 4A, their potential is still relevant in 2021. With talent and players that represent the team well on and off the court well, they feel their team has the work ethic and determination to succeed. Highlighting the talent on the court is Macie Wayne, who had a very successful 2020 season playing primarily middle blocker but is practicing outside hitting that way she can play all the way around.
Head coach Carolyn Replogle has high hopes for Wayne, saying she believes she will be a key player on the team and will be a player people should keep an eye on. Cameryn Barclay is also a player to watch according to coach Replogle. Barlcay is still an underclassman but has the ability and potential to produce at a high level.
Kahli O’Neal and Katie are two players Catoosa will need in a big way this season. Also look for Carmen Reese to play a major role in the overall success of the team in 2021.
