Coach: Amanda Ott Henderson
20-21 Record: 5-5
Coach Amanda Ott Henderson takes over the Lady Indians basketball program that is led by five seniors with solid experience on the floor. “This will be a great year to lay the foundation and start building a successful program,” said coach Henderson. “We play a tough conference that includes Fort Gibson, Wagoner and Hilldale, but looking forward to seeing all our hard work from the summer pay off.” Bailey Wiginton (5-7, Sr.) can play the forward or guard spot. She brings good leadership to the floor and shoots the ball very well. Jaycee Beach (5-2, Sr.) is a quick guard who loves to defend. Beach is another senior leader on this team. Bryanna Wiginton (5-6, Fr.) is a young guard with a high basketball IQ. She can attack the rim and is not intimidated by older players. Faith Hopkins (Sr.) is an exciting and aggressive player to watch. Over the summer she led the team in scoring and in rebounds. Ta’Nei West (Fr.) is another young guard with tremendous potential. West is a ball of energy and tough to stop. Zoe Brown (5-10, Jr.) has great hands and is aggressive on the boards. Together this team is developing into something the fans will love to watch.
