Catoosa senior Colyn Treat is a member of the varsity baseball team and someone to watch this upcoming season.
Head coach Skyler Ellis has called Treat one of the unsung heroes of the Catoosa baseball team. We wanted to know more about the senior and what he thinks about playing for the Catoosa Indians.
VYPE: Colyn, how long have you been playing baseball?
Treat: I’ve been playing baseball for 11 years.
VYPE: I know you guys are excited to take the field this year. What do you enjoy most about playing for this team with this group of guys?
Treat: I feel my teammates are like family. You spend a big majority of your time together throughout a season and it should be a brotherhood type relationship.
VYPE: What about the support of the community of Catoosa and playing for your school as a student-athlete?
Treat: I love the support we get from our community, as well playing the sport I love.
VYPE: When you’re not on the field, what are you doing?
Treat: I enjoy hanging out with my girlfriend, I also enjoy late night Fortnite sessions with the guys.
