2025 Catoosa Boys Basketball Preview

CATOOSA INDIANS

Coach: ROD HALL

2024-25: 22-8

The 2025 season ushers in a fresh and exciting era for the Catoosa Indians basketball program under the leadership of first-year head coach Rod Hall. After a strong 22-8 campaign last year, the Indians are looking to build on that success with a roster full of talent, energy, and promise. With the combination of seasoned upperclassmen and a group of young, high-potential newcomers, Catoosa appears poised to make some serious noise this winter.

Coach Hall and his staff, assistants Tory Hooks and Robert Boyles, have emphasized a balanced approach built around pace, shooting, and defensive intensity. “We’re proud of our ability to score the basketball, but defense has been a major point of focus every single day,” Hall said. “Our guys have bought in, and we’re learning how to win the hard way – together.”

The roster features an impressive blend of experience and youth. Senior leaders A.J. Timmons (6-3, Sr.) and Caden Romo (6-3, Sr.) provide strength, maturity, and leadership in key moments. Junior contributors like T.J. Hooks (6-1, Jr.), Brandon Hampton Jr. (5-8, Jr.), and Fredrick Brown (6-3, Jr) bring valuable versatility, allowing the Indians to adapt to different styles of play.

Sophomores Brysen Jimenez (6-2, So.), James Fath (6-3, So.), and Cayson Stika 5-11, So.) headline the next wave of talent, all capable of providing a scoring spark and defensive toughness. Adding to the excitement are standout freshmen Rodrick Hall Jr. (6-4 guard) and Terence Hooks (6-2 wing), whose length, athleticism, and court awareness make them immediate impact players.

Depth may be one of Catoosa’s greatest weapons this year. With reliable role players like Dayton Robertson (Jr.), Ryder Phillips (6-1, Jr.), Carson Hall (5-9, Jr.), Anthony Barnes (6-0, Jr.), and Tabias Dorsai (6-0, So.), the Indians have the flexibility to run, shoot, and pressure opponents from every angle.

As the Indians prepare for another competitive season, the goal is clear: improve daily, play unselfishly, and enjoy the ride. With talent up and down the roster and a renewed sense of purpose under Coach Hall’s leadership, the Catoosa Indians are ready to make this season one to remember.ck
