Catoosa High School sophomore Aidan Scraper loves playing with this team and this group of guys. Under the guidance of head coach Christian Hood, Scraper alongside his teammates, are learning a new approach to the game of football.
“We’re tough, we play hard and fast with a limited amount of guys,” said Scraper.
The team’s approach is one game at a time and for players like Scraper there is nothing better than a Friday night under the lights.
“I love the atmosphere of the game, there’s not a better feeling,” said Scraper.
The title student-athlete comes with some responsibilities, mainly in the classroom. For Scraper, his favorite subject is English, not because it’s easy.
“My favorite subject is English. My teachers work is hard but reasonable,” said Scraper.
Like most of his peers, Scraper has a go-to meal before every game.
“Chicken, rice, and green beans is what I usually eat before I play,” said Scraper.
During football season be sure to check out the talented running back and this spring look for him on the track competing with the relay teams.
