“A freshman guard who brings some speed and athletic ability to our team. Lots of energy and leadership skills,” said coach Amanda Ott Henderson.
We caught up with the freshman guard to learn about her in this edition of, “Three Questions.”
VYPE: Ta’Nei, what do you love most about your team and teammates at Catoosa?
West: What I love about my team is that we never give up no matter what the circumstances might be.
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life, on or off the court?
West: I’ve had so many people who have made huge influences in my life, but my mom and I have a very special bond and she continues to push me and help me every day no matter what. She’s one of the most hardworking people I know, and I hope I can be just like her when I grow up.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject in school or a favorite teacher?
West: My favorite subject in school is math and my favorite teacher is Mrs. Barrett.
