

VYPE: What are your goals for this season?
Greyson: My goals for this season is to improve as a teammate and help my team make it to state.
VYPE: Who is your favorite athlete and why?
Greyson: My favorite athlete is Ja Morant because he has always been an underdog. He always plays his hardest and he’s a role model for kids everywhere.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Greyson: My favorite teacher I’ve had is Ms. Flud. She was always really nice to me and would do anything she could to help me learn.
VYPE: Who do you look up to and why?
Greyson: I look up to Jayden, he’s my brother that is closest in age to me and I look up to him because he is a hard worker and he helped me develop my skills and I would not be where I am right now without him.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Greyson: The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Isaac Harris. When I first moved to Catoosa Isaac was the leader of the team and he did everything he could to welcome me and be the best leader he could be. He also made a ton of sacrifices so that our team could succeed.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Greyson: My favorite part about being on a team is the relationships I have made. I view all my coaches, teammates and student managers as my family. I spend a lot of time with them and I can always count on them to have my back.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Greyson: If I could pick any place for a summer vacation it would be the Bahamas, it is a very pretty place and would be one of the best places to spend my summer. I would choose to bring my family because it would be a fun family vacation and it would be nice to have a getaway and spend time with my brothers and parents.
VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing basketball?
Greyson: I first started playing basketball the summer going into 6th grade. I always loved playing basketball with my brothers but never officially played on a team. The coach reached out to my parents because they saw me play and wanted me on the team.

Greyson: I would like to say thank you to my family for supporting me and always driving me to games even if they were super far away. I would also like to say thank you to coach Drake who has always believed in me and has helped turn me into the basketball player and man I am today.
