

VYPE: What are your sports goals for the year and how is the season going?
Mallory: My sports goals for this year is to get recruited to play college softball. We are 11-15 so far and we have improved a lot since the beginning of the season.
VYPE: What are you looking forward to the most this sports season?
Mallory: I’m looking forward to senior night. I think it will be a very fun experience.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Mallory: My favorite teacher was Mrs. Dawson, my third grade teacher because we did so many fun and cool projects. I also made a lot of friends that I am still friends with today.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Mallory: My favorite athletic memory was when my old coach got the activity bus stuck on a hill.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Mallory: Ta’Nei West has made the biggest impression on me. I have been trying to get her to play softball since last year and she finally gave it a try. She ended up loving it and has a great work ethic. She’s a good supportive teammate and works on her own athletic abilities even through the struggles.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being part of a team?
Mallory: My favorite part about being a team is that we are all very close and are able to have fun while staying focused on the game.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Mallory: I would go to Colorado for a summer vacation because I love the scenery and the weather is so nice. I would go there with my family.
VYPE: If we have you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
Mallory: If I had to spend 500 dollars in 24 hrs I would buy myself a new glove because mine is old and worn.
