VYPE: How did your season turn out and what were your goals?
Natalie: I would say my season turned out better than any of my other years cheering. I had an amazing team who all worked together. My goal was to make sure I always gave my 110% in practice.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
Natalie: The most fun I’ve had is at the Miami football game, all of us girls made cheering fun that night.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Natalie: My favorite teacher is my English teacher Mr. Cheves from my freshman year. He is one of the kindest souls you will ever meet.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
Natalie: My favorite athletic memory is last year at our regional competition right before we went on the mat. All of us knew how hard we worked to get there and you could feel the love we had for each other.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Natalie: I read this question and my mind immediately went to our senior Aliyah Brown. She always is so uplifting and shows amazing leadership for the whole team. She puts her everything into our team and I’m so sad to see her leave.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Natalie: My favorite part about being on a team is it’s like a second family. I know any of the girls on my team would be there for me with no hesitation no matter what the circumstances were. We all work together to reach the same goal.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Natalie: If I were to go on a summer vacation it would definitely be Miami and I’d have to take two of my best friends Hannah and Hayley England.
VYPE: When and how did you first get into cheer?
Natalie: I started cheering four years ago in my 7th grade year. At the time I never thought I would be cheering, until my cousin, who at the time was on Lincoln’s Varsity Cheer Squad, made me consider it. It was one of the best decisions I could have made.
VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.
Natalie: I’d just like to say thank you to my amazing cheer coach for all that she has done for me and all the other girls on our team!
