“Zoe is a 5-foot-10 junior with great hands. She works hard and is aggressive on the boards.”
Coach Amanda Ott Henderson
VYPE: Zoe, what do your teammates and your team mean to you?
Brown: My team and teammates mean a lot to me. They help keep me accountable to stay motivated and push me every day.
VYPE: When you hear coach Henderson say you’re an unsung hero of this team, what does that mean to you and how do you define that term?
Brown: To be the unsung hero of the team means that I just need to work even harder to help out my team and teammates and to let them know that there is always going to be somebody rooting for them. I would define an unsung hero as a person who has achieved great things without notice or recognition or who sacrifices oneself for someone or something that means a lot to you.
VYPE: What grade are you in this season and what are your plans after you graduate?
Brown: I am a junior. My plan after I graduate is to become an athletic trainer or something around that kind of work.
