Guy Clevenger is back for another shot at becoming a two-time state champion. Clevenger won a state title in 2020 at 106-pounds and was state runner-up last year at 113-pounds. We caught up with Clevenger just before the season started.
VYPE: What was the name of the first team you were ever on and what sport was it?
Clevenger: I was part of the Catoosa Youth Wrestling team.
VYPE: If you were stranded on an island who are the three people you would want with you and why?
Clevenger: Charles Gutierrez because he’s funny, Bear Grylls for survival purposes, and Dwayne Johnson for protection.
VYPE: What is one thing you want to cross off your bucket list in the next five years?
Clevenger: I want to skydive.
